Overview

The Account Manager is responsible for managing and nurturing the company’s key
accounts, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and loyalty, while maximizing
revenue opportunities. This role is responsible for building relationships with long-term
clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions that align with the
company’s strategic goals. The Account Manager must possess an urgency to complete
tasks in a timely manner and be deadline driven with a customer-centric mentality.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for sales growth in assigned key customer accounts.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge and understanding of each assigned customer
    account including strategic goals, value drivers, key access stakeholders, relevant
    business metrics, and unique challenges/emerging needs.
  • Build trust and credibility by becoming a true collaborator with customers and
    identify vertical sale opportunities.
  • Demonstrate best in class account management, driving growth in revenue to
    achieve and exceed sales goals.
  • Partner with Business Development team to develop short- and long-term strategic
    plans to ensure revenue growth.
  • Manage quotes and customer’s specific requests including engaging the
    appropriate Ancillare Team Members based on the request type.
  • Problem solve and maintain a solution-oriented attitude when account level issues
    or objections arise. Identify and resolve customer issues working with cross-functional
    teams ensuring timely and successful resolutions.
  • Develop, maintain, and present monthly global Key Performance Indicators (KPIs),
    monthly meetings and client communications as deemed necessary, based on a
    regularly scheduled cadence.
  • Facilitate client contracts, CDA’s, MSA’s and Quality Agreements.
  • Conduct market research and trend analysis reporting for all assigned accounts.
  • Monitor and communicate client pipelines to team management.
  • Other duties as necessary.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, life sciences preferred. May consider
    equivalent work experience.
  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical and clinical research sectors.
  • 5+ years as a stellar Account Manager who can commit to learning the business.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence effectively at all
    levels, including pharmaceutical executives.
  • Excellent negotiation, listening and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail.
  • Willingness to travel as required to conferences, trade shows and industry events.
  • Proven track record in complex, relationship-based strategic selling techniques.

Overview

Assist a project team.  Interface directly with internal and external teams to support clinical supply operations and processes.  Work effectively in a team environment to manage the flow of products to global clinical trial locations.  Perform all functions according to company SOPs and strategic direction.

 

Responsibilities

  • Work in a collaborative style to successfully support the full scope of work for the project/s.
  • Effectively assist in all functional areas of the project as needed to ensure timely completion including supply, resupply, and disposition of study supplies as directed as a member of the Ancillare Professional Team (APT).
  • Interface regularly with internal stakeholders and external study teams, responding to inquiries and bringing resolve to areas of concern.
  • Update and monitor all aspects of each project in company system including storage and shipment of materials. Maintain and execute accurate and timely reports, while disseminating accurate communication to internal and external parties.
  • Maintain study tracker/s, project management study reports, management of inventory, documentation/meeting minutes, and oversight of purchases and orders.
  • Serve as customer service liaison to support relationships between the organization and customer to communicate all relevant information including recommendations, requirements, and progress of project.
  • Manage and provide regular status reports to Ancillare Professional Team (APT).
  • Facilitate completion of action items for the project/s and provide immediate escalation of potential risks Ability and desire to work a project to completion meeting and or exceeding timeline deliverables within the defined scope of work.
  • Enhance organization’s reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to the job.
  • Ability to work successfully individually or in a team.
  • Demonstrate and drive the Ancillare mission, values, and strategy.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, will consider equivalent work experience in lieu of degree. 
  • Prior customer relations experience in product/service provider related experience, project management, or management/supervisory experience preferred.
  • Prior working experience in supply chain, clinical/ancillary supply, or pharmaceutical industry is highly desirable.

    • Must possess demonstrated Microsoft Office skills; Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
    • Must have a track record of dependability, consistency & reliability.
    • Ability to effectively communicate in English verbally and written.
