Overview

The Strategic Partnership Manager is a dynamic and pivotal role within our organization,
responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities. As a
hunter for new business, this position requires a proactive approach in forming strategic
partnerships to drive growth and market expansion.

Responsibilities

  • Actively seek out, identify, and evaluate potential new business opportunities and
    markets.
  • Develop and implement strategies for acquiring new business and achieving sales
    targets; generate leads and build relationships.
  • Negotiate and close partnership deals that align with the company’s strategic
    objectives and financial goals.
  • Provide solution-focused proposals that achieve company and client goals.
  • Communicate effectively with a variety of decision makers and influencers,
    including preparing and delivering sales presentations and translating sales plans.
  • Work with internal teams, including Marketing, Project Management, Medical,
    Sourcing, Logistics, and Proposals, ensuring that client needs and expectations are
    delivered effectively and seamlessly on time.
  • Ensure quarterly/annual sales targets are met and strategies are adjusted as
    necessary to respond to market changes.
  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective business and partnership
    opportunities including commencing the process for NDA’s, New Customer
    Form(s) and MSA’s.
  • Act as an ambassador for the company representing its interests and values in all
    business dealings.
  • Establish Ancillare as a leader in clinical trial ancillary supplies and equipment
    supply chain management. Educate prospects on the scope and depth of our
    solutions versus competitors.
  • Ensure overall client satisfaction, including leading regular client meetings to
    ensure requests and projects are completed on schedule.
  • Research and remain current on competitor tactics, market conditions, and trends
    in the industry.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or life sciences preferred. May consider
    equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of professional experience, with a proven track record, working in a
    business development and/or operational delivery role.
  • 3 years demonstrated history of identifying, engaging, and crafting winning
    strategies, and securing new clients. Highly motivated and results driven.
  • Extensive contacts within the pharma/biotech/clinical supply industry are a plus.
  • Experience working in a startup organization highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated success at partnering, prioritizing, and balancing needs cross functionally.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, including formal and informal
    meetings and presentation settings.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Good understanding of MS 365, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
