We are seeking a Strategic Partnership Director to lead business development efforts and drive growth through high-impact partnerships. This proactive, externally focused role is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. The ideal candidate is a natural hunter who is skilled at building relationships, closing deals, and strategically expanding market reach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities and markets aligned with Ancillare’s service offerings.
  • Develop and execute strategies to build a strong sales pipeline and meet quarterly/annual revenue targets.
  • Initiate and nurture relationships through cold outreach, email campaigns, networking, and industry events.
  • Deliver tailored solution-focused proposals and  presentations to prospective clients.
  • Negotiate and close partnership agreements that support the Company’s strategic and financial objectives.
  • Manage NDA, MSA and onboarding processes for new clients and partners.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including Marketing, Project Management, Proposals, Sourcing, and Logistics to ensure a seamless client experience.
  • Develop strategic plans for key accounts and lead regular client meetings to ensure satisfaction and progress.
  • Communicate effectively with a variety of decision makers and influencers, including preparing and delivering sales presentations and translating sales plans.
  • Ensure quarterly/annual sales targets are met or exceeded and strategies are adjusted timely as necessary to respond to market changes.
  • Monitor competitor activity and industry trends to refine strategy and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Represent Ancillare’s brand and values in all external interactions as a trusted ambassador.
  • Contribute to internal process improvements, SOP development, and functional training initiatives.
  • Drive projects to completion, meeting or exceeding timeline and quality expectations.
  • Maintain professional knowledge through ongoing learning and participation in industry forums.
  • Be available to work outside regular hours and travel as needed to support global operations.
  • Support other Company initiatives and perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or life sciences preferred; equivalent work experience may be considered.
  • 5–8 years of professional experience in business development or operational delivery, with a proven track record of success.
  • 3+ years of demonstrated success in prospecting, engaging, strategizing, and securing new clients through strategic, results-driven approaches.
  • Proven track record of achieving growth targets in a results-driven environment.
  • Established network within the pharma, biotech, or clinical supply industries.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills across formal and informal settings, including client presentations.
  • Experience working in a startup or high-growth environment is highly desirable.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively across departments and prioritize competing demands.
  • Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills and sound business judgment.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment that requires adaptability and initiative.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
