Overview

We are seeking a Senior Manager, Global Supply Chain Operations (Senior Warehouse Manager) to join our team in Horsham, PA who will oversee the company’s receiving, inventory management and distribution operations across the depot network (Master Depots and Strategic Depots) focusing on safety, quality, compliance, customer service, and productivity. Establish and maintain global supply chain processes and ensure compliance at all depots. This individual will serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for global supply chain operations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership to site US Distribution Manager who is responsible for daily operation at the US distribution site.
  • In collaboration with Sr Manager Logistics establish, implement, and monitor requirements for daily order work streams for warehouse and logistics teams, ensuring the orderly flow of all products to manage the customer delivery process.
  • Oversee depot network (master and strategic) ensuring company and customer requirements are communicated, understood, and met through ongoing interaction with depot points of contact.
  • Serve as point of contact for escalations and issue resolution; performing root cause analysis investigations as required to determine appropriate corrective actions.
  • Conduct SWOT analysis, identifying potential and actual risks in the supply chain; propose, implement, and monitor appropriate timely actions to eliminate or mitigate risk; monitor actions for effectiveness.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain robust, effective, supply chain operations procedures and training programs, ensuring records are maintained as may be required.
  • Maintain oversight of compliance to cycle count processes at master and strategic depots.
  • Ensure the existence, maintenance, and functioning of an effective system of internal controls in operational areas of the department.
  • Establish processes for the monitoring, maintenance, and recording of warehouse equipment as required, ensuring safe storage/use.
  • Drive, implement, and facilitate activities that improve coordination and communication within the department and across all company departments.
  • Facilitate the company’s strategy to cultivate and mentor a fully engaged workforce by holding one on one meetings with direct reports, maintaining notes, and developing action plans as may be needed for succession planning or development gaps as identified.
  • Identify, lead, and facilitate initiatives for continuous process improvement.
  • Develop, Collect, Manage and Report global supply chain operational metrics. Perform trend analyses and process improvements based off metrics.
  • Ensure continuity of operations, procedures, processes and communications between the US Distribution site and all Master Depots.
  • Facilitate a systemic management of inventory across all depots in network.
  • Work off hours and travel as required.
  • In collaboration with QA/QC and Supply Chain Compliance, ensure Ancillare operates in accordance with internal and external requirements.
  • Partner and collaborate with internal and external customers to drive operational excellence.
  • Effectively collaborate with internal colleagues and business partners to successfully complete tasks accurately and timely.
  • Effectively lead, supervise, coach, mentor, train and evaluate performance of team members assigned, identifying performance gaps, and recommending development opportunities as may be required.
  • Ability and desire to work a project to completion meeting and or exceeding timeline deliverables.
  • Demonstrate and drive the Ancillare mission, values, and strategy.
  • Participate and contribute positively to process improvement initiatives.
  • Assist in other areas within the department and company as necessary; perform other duties as may be assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; focus in Supply Chain Management preferred.
  • Three to five years of working knowledge in domestic and international shipping required.
  • Three to five years of previous management experience required in warehouse/supply chain/logistics, preferably in a pharmaceutical/medical device/healthcare environment.
  • Three to five years of previous people leadership experience required.

  • Ability to effectively communicate; read, write, speak, and understand English required.
  • Ability to partner and successfully gain collaboration across all levels of the organization.
  • Must be detail oriented and organized with strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Must possess Microsoft Office skills with a working knowledge of electronic inventory control systems and ERP systems. Microsoft Dynamics experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing user requirements and training documentation related to warehouse management activities and ERP systems. Experience in system integration and new system implementations preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and skills in: Organizational Development – Restructuring the warehouse staff as necessary to improve productivity, People Development – Establishment of goals and objectives to hold the team accountable and Technical Development – Clear knowledge of distribution, shipping, importing and regulatory compliance.
  • Ability to effectively work both strategically and tactically, and independently as well as in a team effort.
  • Strong leadership skills with a professional presence and demeanor to champion the organization.
  • Highly organized with the ability to meet changing demands.
  • Proven ability to foster collaboration and team development.
