Overview

We are looking for a Paralegal to join our team to provide support by gathering, organizing and preparing various documents and files. They may also regularly meet with internal team members, clients, or other legal professionals to gather details and fact check information for contracts. Taking direction from In-House Counsel the Paralegal will assist with contracts and other legal administrative duties including coordinating deliveries of important legal documents.

Responsibilities

  • Organizing and archiving documents related to contracts and company legal dealings.
  • Drafting legal documents.
  • Conducting research and fact findings.
  • Keeping track of outstanding work and timelines required to complete contracts.
  • Preparing reports for In House Counsel as needed.
  • Ability and desire to work a project to completion meeting and or exceeding timeline deliverables.
  • Participate and work on projects as may be assigned.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
  • Demonstrate and drive the Ancillare mission, values, and strategy.
  • Enhance organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to the job.
  • Participate and contribute positively to process improvement initiatives.
  • Travel as may be required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Certification or associate degree in paralegal studies required, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • A minimum experience of two years in a paralegal role.
  • Investigative mind and strong research skills.
  • Working knowledge legal database software.
  • Experience in preparing legal reports and contracts.
  • Experience in life sciences preferred must be willing to learn the industry.
  • Current Notary Public or willing to successfully complete notary public requirements.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
